1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. HeyUtils has no accounts or sign-up flow — using a tool is treated as acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of Service

HeyUtils provides a collection of free, browser-based developer tools (such as the CSV to JSON converter) that generally process the data you enter directly on your device, without requiring an account. We reserve the right to modify, add, remove, or discontinue any tool or part of the Service at any time, with notice on this site where practical.

3. No Accounts, No Fees

The Service does not require account registration and is free to use. We do not currently charge for access to any tool. If a paid tier or feature is introduced in the future, it will be described clearly before you are asked to pay anything, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or infringing content through the Service, including via the feedback form.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive proprietary source code from the Service, beyond what browser developer tools naturally expose for client-side code.
• Use automated means to scrape or overload the Service in a way that degrades it for other users.

5. Your Content and Results

Data you paste into a tool belongs to you. Because it is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers (see the Privacy Policy for details), we do not obtain any rights to it and have no ability to access, use, or retain it. You are responsible for the data you choose to process and for how you use any resulting output.

6. Intellectual Property

The HeyUtils name, branding, site design, and the underlying code of the Service (other than open-source components used under their own licenses) are the property of HeyUtils or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding or to republish the Service itself, but you are welcome to link to any tool or page.

7. Availability and Termination of Access

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service for any user or network at our discretion, for example in response to abuse. Since there are no accounts, "termination" means restricting access to the Service rather than closing an account. You can stop using the Service at any time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy of any conversion or calculation performed by a tool. Always verify important or high-stakes results independently. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeyUtils shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or reliance on any tool's output, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as new tools are added. We will note material changes by updating the effective date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
